- General Reference and Information Section
This section provides services for the identification of documents and information requested by library users.
General Reference Books
- Atlases and gazettes provide geographic information on any subject area.
- Dictionaries deal primarily with all aspects of words.
- Encyclopedias give an overview of a subject and its research possibilities.
- Yearbooks and annuals summarize events of the past years including research projects undertaken and completed.
- Handbooks and manuals contain treatise on an specific subject written primarily for practitioners
ANNEX E
- Circulation Section
This serves as the loans desk where borrowing and returning of all library materials are done in this area at the opening of the school year.
Students are allowed to borrow two (2) library materials at a time to be returned the following school day.
How to borrow a circulation book:
- Check the card catalog to verify if the book is available in the library.
- Copy the call number, author, and title of the book on a call slip.
- Present the call slip to the desk assistant to guide you in locating the material.
- Present your library card, student I.D. card, and registration form at the charging desk.
How to return a circulation book:
- Present the book at the charging desk, and ask for your library card, from the library assistant.
- In case of losses, report immediately and be sure to settle your accounts within ten (10) days from the date of report of loss, to avoid fines.
- To renew, return the book first and request for the renewal, and follow the same steps in borrowing a book. Request for renewal maybe granted depending on the demand of said materials.
- In case of overdue, return the book at the charging desk and pay the corresponding overdue fines.
- Periodical Section
Local and foreign journals, magazines and dailies in current retrospective issues are found in the Periodical section. Current issues are arranged alphabetically on the display shelves. Bound volumes are organized as books

- Filipiniana Section
This section is the repository of Philippine prints both rare ad current. It includes books, periodicals, pamphlets, manuscripts, these and non-book materials.
