The following are the security measures of the College:
1.)
On the Search Person, Vehicles, etc. “ Within the school premises all
persons in authority and / or the College Security Officers or his duly
authorized representative/s can only conduct search of persons, vehicles and
articles to safeguard all persons within the premises and therefore may be
denied to those refuse to submit to such search.”
2.) On Security Measures-Department Order No. 31, s. 1972 provides:
a.) Proper identification cards shall be issued to all employees in each school, college or university.
b.) Proper screening of all persons entering the school premises shall be conducted at the gates of the school campus by the Security Forces or by any other authorized persons.
c.) No person carrying packages, cases or other containers shall be allowed inside the school premises without prior inspection of the same at the school gates in order to prevent the entry therein of any fatal or incendiary materials.
d.) Students found guilty of charges on account of violations of existing laws or of rules and regulations issued by the Commission on Higher Education, or by the school itself shall be dropped from the rolls immediately.
3.) On Undesirable Students, Department Order No. 30.s. 72 Par 3 states: “School
heads may conduct summary investigations or direct summary investigation
against undesirable students facing charges as provided under paragraph (2)
in order to afford them the essence of fairness and fair play.”
4.) On the School’s responsibility to Enforce Peace and Order in School Campuses: “School heads and other school administration officials concern shall assume full responsibility for any acts of violence or any violations of existing laws and other orders, decre4es and instruction and instructions issued as a consequence thereof, committed within their jurisdictions.
Failures on their part to take measures to prevent any subversive activities or acts of violence or violations of existing laws in their school campuses shall and / or by such other measures as the Government may determine.
